Prodigy
What is a prodigy? It is a person who is endowed with exceptional abilities or qualities….an amazing or unusual thing. Esther & I had a most wonderful day in the barn making art and this piece sprang forth rather quickly from both our inspirations. One of the cool things about this piece is the serving tray is sterling silver plated over solid copper and is quite heavy.
This prodigy bursts forth with an inspired musical feeling. All of the delicate wood scroll work is from mid 19th century European piano fronts….contributing to the gracefulness of the work.
